          Biographies of The masters who ( Wise ) Sri Abdulbaki TORAMAN took lessons from:

( Wise ) Sri Harold Klemp
The Mahanta, the Living ECK Master

( Wise )  Sri Harold Klemp was born in Wisconsin and grew up on a small farm. He attended a two-room country schoolhouse before going to high school at a religious boarding school in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

After preministerial college in Milwaukee and Fort Wayne, Indiana, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force. There he trained as a language specialist at Indiana University and a radio intercept operator at Goodfellow AFB, Texas. Then followed a two-year stint in Japan where he first encountered Eckankar.

In October 1981, he became the spiritual leader of Eckankar, Religion of the Light and Sound of God. His full title is ( Wise ) Sri Harold Klemp, the Mahanta, the Living ECK Master. As the Living ECK Master, Harold Klemp is responsible for the continued evolution of the Eckankar teachings.

His mission is to help people find their way back to God in this life. Harold Klemp travels to ECK seminars in North America, Europe, and the South Pacific. He has also visited Africa and many countries throughout the world, meeting with spiritual seekers and giving inspirational talks. There are many videocassettes and audiocassettes of his public talks available.

In his talks and writings, Harold Klemp’s sense of humor and practical approach to spirituality have helped many people around the world find truth in their lives and greater inner freedom

Yaubl Sacabi

Yaubl Sacabi. YEEOW-buhl sah-KAH-bee The ECK Master among the Mycenaeans (who invaded Greece during the period between 2000–1700 B.C.); he was the leading figure among the Greek mystery cults and is now the guardian of the Shariyat-Ki-Sugmad, the sacred book of ECK, in the spiritual city of Agam Des, the home of the Eshwar-Khanewale, the God-eaters. He served as the Mahanta, the Living ECK Master.


Rebazar Tarzs

Rebazar Tarzs. REE-bah-zahr TAHRZ The torchbearer of Eckankar in the lower worlds; the spiritual teacher of many ECK Masters including Peddar Zaskq, or Paul Twitchell, to whom he handed the Rod of ECK Power in 1965; said to be over five hundred years old, Rebazar Tarzs lives in a hut in the Hindu Kush mountains and appears to many as he helps the present Living ECK Master in the works of Eckankar. He served as the Mahanta, the Living ECK Master.


Peddar Zaskq
(Paul Twitchell)

Twitchell, Paul. The Mahanta, the Living ECK Master from 1965 until his translation from the physical in 1971; he brought the modern teachings of Eckankar to the peoples of the world through his many books, lectures, and writings; as the spiritual head of Eckankar, he brought new life and hope to thousands. (Also known as Paulji or Peddar Zaskq.)

Rami Nuri

Rami Nuri. RAH-mee NOO-ree The ECK Master who is the guardian of the holy book, the Shariyat-Ki-Sugmad, on the Pinda Lok, the physical world, at the House of Moksha, Temple of Golden Wisdom in the city of Retz, Venus. The letter M appears on his forehead. He served as the Mahanta, the Living ECK Master.

Fubbi Quantz

Fubbi Quantz. FOO-bee KWAHNTS The Mahanta, the Living ECK Master during the time of Buddha, about 500 B.C. He completed his mission, then immortalized his body, and is now the guardian of the Shariyat-Ki-Sugmad at the Katsupari Monastery in northern Tibet. A teacher of Firdusi, the Persian poet, he was also the spiritual guide for Columbus and encouraged his voyage to the Americas in order to revitalize the depleted nutrition of the Europeans.

Towart Managi

Towart Managi. TOH-wahrt mah-NAH-gee The ECK Master in charge of the Shariyat-Ki-Sugmad in the Temple of Golden Wisdom on the Mental Plane in the city of Mer Kailash; as guardian his title is the Koji Chanda. He was the Mahanta, the Living ECK Master in Abyssinia, an ancient kingdom in what is now Ethiopia.

Lai Tsi

Lai Tsi. lie TSEE The Chinese ECK Master who is the guardian of the Shariyat-Ki-Sugmad on the Saguna Lok, the Etheric Plane, at the Temple of Golden Wisdom in the city of Arhirit. He served as the Mahanta, the Living ECK Master.

Gopal Das

Gopal Das. GOH-pahl DAHS The Mahanta, the Living ECK Master in Egypt, 3000 B.C., who founded the mystery cults of Osiris and Isis; the guardian of the fourth section of the Shariyat-Ki-Sugmad on the Astral Plane; he teaches at the Temple of Golden Wisdom there.

Kata Daki

Kata Daki. KAH-tah DAH-kee An ECK Master in the Ancient Order of Vairagi Adepts. Although her true age is beyond belief, she appears to be in her midtwenties to early thirties. She is five and a half feet tall. Her light brown (honey-blond) hair often falls to her shoulders, but she changes hairstyles to fit her duties. Like all the ECK Masters, she serves Sugmad (God) by helping others find the Mahanta, the Living ECK Master. Her pet project is to help people get back on their feet during hardship.
